– 1 medium onion, chopped

1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
Instructions
For the Sloppy Joes:
In a big skillet, brown the bottom beef and onion over medium heat until no pink stays.
Drain off any excess fats.
Stir in the sloppy joe sauce, water, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to a simmer and prepare dinner for 10 minutes, or till thickened.
Preheat the oven to 350 levels F (175 levels C).
