French Onion Sloppy Joe Recipe With Melted Cheese

Ingredients

1 giant white or yellow onion, thinly sliced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup beef broth

1 cup water

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 pound floor beef

1/2 cup ketchup

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese

– 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

– half of cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/4 cup diced frred shallots

1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

2. Add onions and prepare dinner till caramelized, about forty five minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Add ground beef and cook dinner until browned. Drain off any extra fat.

4. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for 1 minute.
