Asian-Inspired Tuna Salad: Adding Soy Sauce, Ginger, And Sesame

1 (12-ounce) can tuna, drained

¼ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

1 teaspoon sesame oil

¼ cup diced purple onion

¼ cup diced celery

2 tablespoons chopped recent cilantro

Salt and pepper to taste

For the dressing:

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp toasted sesame oil

1 tsp grated recent ginger

1/2 tsp Asian chili oil

1/4 tsp floor black pepper

Instructions

Make the dressing:

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.

Slowly whisk within the olive oil till emulsified.

Season with salt and pepper to style.

Make the tuna salad:

1. Place the tuna in a big bowl, and flake with a fork.

2. Add the celery, onion, and grapes to the bowl.

3. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil.

4. Pour the dressing over the Tuna Salad Healthy combination and stir to combine.

5. Serve the tuna salad on a mattress of lettuce, or use it to make sandwiches or wraps.
