Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe Recipe
Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 purple bell pepper, chopped
1 can (10.seventy five ounces) tomato soup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 hoagie roll, split and toasted
1/2 pound thinly sliced steak
1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
For the Meat Mixture:
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup chopped pink bell pepper
1 (10.seventy five ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup shredded provolone cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Serve on: 6 hamburger buns, cut up and toasted
Instructions:
1. In a big skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any extra grease.
2. Add the onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook till the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the tomato soup, water, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook till the sauce has thickened, about 10 minutes.
4. Stir within the provolone and mozzarella cheeses until melted.
5. Serve the sloppy Joe mixture on toasted hamburger buns.
